Last updated: 31 August 2026. This policy explains, in plain language, what data MediTravel Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (“MediTravel”, “we”) collects and why.
1. Information we collect
To arrange your care we may collect: your name and contact details; your country of residence; medical reports, scans and history you choose to share; travel and visa details; and messages you send us on WhatsApp, email or our forms.
2. How we use your information
- To provide a medical opinion and connect you with the right specialist.
- To prepare treatment plans, cost estimates and visa-invitation letters.
- To coordinate your travel, accommodation, admission and follow-up.
- To communicate with you about your enquiry and care.
3. Sharing your information
We share your details only with the doctors and hospitals involved in your care, and only what is necessary to treat you. We do not sell your data. We may share information where required by law. The one exception is the chat assistant, which sends what you type to an AI provider in order to answer you — see section 4.
Reports and scans you send are used solely to help plan and deliver your treatment, and are shared only with the clinicians on your case.
4. The chat assistant and cookies
The chat button on every page is answered by an AI assistant, not a person. What you type there is sent to a third-party AI provider outside India in order to generate a reply. We do not store chat transcripts — only the name, country and phone number you choose to submit through the callback form, which reaches our coordinators the same way the other forms on this site do.
Because of this, please do not type medical details, report contents or document numbers into the chat. Send those to a coordinator on WhatsApp or by email instead, where they stay with the clinicians on your case.
We set two first-party cookies, mt_vid and mt_sid. They hold a random identifier so we can count visits and see which pages help patients reach us. They contain no name, no contact detail and no medical information, they are not readable by other websites, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Clearing your browser data removes them completely.
5. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we encourage you to share sensitive documents only through the channels we provide.
6. Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, at any time. Contact us and we will act on your request promptly.
